*2012*

We're over 20 days into the new year and I'm now coming to accept what this year has in store for me.  For one, RyC accepted a position overseas for a year :-( and I get to see him every few months.  I'm coming to terms with anniversaries and holidays without him and rolling over to a cold side of the bed.  Ok! Enough with the pity party! 

2012 is also filled with some exciting travel plans, wedding planning, and hopeful dreams and I am truly EXCITED!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Thanksgiving is one of the American holidays that I truly appreciate.  I love the fact that it's a holiday that you get to take time to reflect on your life's blessings and celebrate and overeat with family.

Here are a five things that I am truly thankful for:

• I am thankful for God blessing me the ability to see, hear, touch, taste, and smell all the wonderful and not so wonderful things in this world.

• I am thankful for my family and friends who love and support me unconditionally.

• I am thankful to God for bringing RyC home safely from overseas.

• I am thankful for my job.  Eventhough it stresses me out sometimes, I am thankful to have one and a good one at that.

• I am thankful for the all the advanced technology that makes a few things in my life a bit easier.

Cheeers!!! Today is my father's birthday!!!  I'm so thankful for God for blessing him with another year here with us.  He is a wonderful and amazing father and words cannot express how much I adore him.  

I wish I could bake a delicious chocolate cake like the one pictured above but since I can't, I'll make a special trip to a bakery and make up for my lack of baking skills.

I'm missing my RyC so freaking much.  He's been working overseas for over two weeks now and I still have two more weeks to go before I see his handsome face again :-(

HAPPY {SCARY} FRIDAY

I have been a very bad bad blogger.  Life has just been a little bit hectic and I honestly haven't had any motivation to update my blog until now.

Halloween is around the corner and I'll say I freaking LOVE Halloween.  It's one of my favorite holidays.  I think I love it because it's the only time in the whole year I can be whatever and whoever I want to be and channel my creative gene (i think).

Monday {Motivational} Music

I can't seem to get myself motivated to get out of bed on most Mondays. It's even harder to get things going at work. This morning though, I was listening to Pandora (Lady GaGa station) and "Firework" came on.  

It really got me feeling so empowered and ready to conquer the day.
